Manchester Cleaning Show 2022 – getting back to business

The organiser of the Manchester Cleaning Show is delighted to confirm that it return to the city on 6 and 7 April at its new, easily accessible venue, Manchester Central.

Now firmly established in the north west, the third Manchester Cleaning Show has been some time in the planning stages thanks to the COVID pandemic but, following a virtual event in 2020, its greatly anticipated return promises to deliver thousands of attendees ready to order products, discuss industry challenges and network.

The event follows the same exhibition and free conference format of its parent Cleaning Show, which marked a successful return to London last November following a COVID postponement. Event organiser, BCCE Ltd – a company jointly owned by the British Cleaning Council and Quartz Business Media, publisher of C&M - is expecting in excess of the 2300 visitors to the new venue, Manchester Central.

The opening times for Manchester Cleaning Show 2022 are 09:00-17:00 on Wednesday 6 April and 09:00-15:00 on Thursday 7 April 2022. Registration will be open very soon – please visit www.cleaningshow.co.uk/manchester to secure your free visitor pass.

Tony Crinion, managing director of Quartz Business Media, said: “Whilst moving the Cleaning Show from Birmingham to London has been a phenomenal success, the one impact was that we saw a reduction in the number of regular visitors from the north west, north east and Scotland. In response to this we created a new event in Manchester in 2016, an event that exceeded all our expectations both in terms of exhibitor and visitor numbers. We built on this success and delivered an even bigger and better event in 2018. COVID disrupted our scheduled 2020 event so we are delighted to be back in person for what I’m certain will be an excellent two days. I look forward to welcoming the cleaning industry to Manchester in April.”

The conference

In addition to a busy exhibition, the event also features a two-day conference programme. The programme is largely themed around the challenges and opportunities facing the UK’s cleaning, hygiene and waste management industries, particularly as it continues to play a critical role in dealing with the pandemic. Senior representatives drawn from both private and public sector organisations will participate in the seminar. Details are available online at: www.cleaningshow.co.uk/manchester.
