Marcus Leeming, manager of Jangro member Hygiene Cleaning Supplies, Morecambe, decided to clean Eric Morecambe’s statue on the town’s promenade. After applying a Jangro feather duster to all Eric’s nooks and crannies he raised a laugh with holidaymakers whilst posing for this photo.
Leeming, never one to miss a chance for publicity, used the moment to promote the Jangro Enviro range of cleaning products, which he is selling across Lancashire and Cumbria. He said: “I’ve been selling a lot of Jangro Enviro products and customers in Morecambe are now ‘wiser’ having realised that these are the best products for their pockets and the environment.”
